A university-wide NU Stationery redesign launched March 11, 2019 refreshing all letterhead, business cards and envelopes to the new approved style. All stationery products ordered from this point on will reflect the refreshed style and format.
We are currently working on the transitioning to the revised style for our “online ordering” process. This may temporarily impact the production time and will require that you will be receiving proofs of the new layout for any new orders. Thank you in advance for your patience.
Due to the increasingly unsecure nature of FTP, on May 1st, 2017, our FTP server will no longer be accessible for file transfer. Instead, we would like to invite you to use UNL Box for all file transfer needs. For further instructions, go to http://printing.unl.edu/print/files.shtml
As of May 1, 2015; only those projects that are printed and/or mailed within UNL will be able to use Permit #46 (UNL indicia) and
access postage funds from this account.
If departments are printing and/or mailing outside UNL other arrangements for funding of permit and postage will need to be made.
Reminder: to ensure postal regulations are met and the best postal rates are offered, Mail Services should review print
pieces during the design phase if the pieces have the potential to be mailed.
Any questions about mailing should be directed to Mike Chaplin via phone or email.
Our Bindery has added a Modern Paperback Book Binder (Perfect Binder). Our new Standard Horizon BQ270 machine is more efficient and cost effective for modern print binding needs. The binder can bind books from 1/32 inch thick up to 2 inches thick. It can also make sizes from 4 1/4 long bound edge to 12 1/2 long bound edge. This a one operator touch screen computer controlled device that requires very little setup and spoilage. Good first book out to last book out capability.
We can make your printing SHINE with our new UV coating machine. This machine lays down a high gloss coating over your printed piece that will protect and make your colors POP! We can also use Dull UV coating for a fanciful feel on your printed piece.
